Welcoming the New Semester: Coordination Meeting for the Odd Semester of the Indonesian Literature Study Program 2025/2026

The odd semester meeting of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in the FIB Undip Large Meeting Room, was attended by all lecturers and academic staff of the Sasindo FIB Undip Study Program. This meeting was held as part of a commitment to ensure the academic quality and management of the study program.

The purpose of this activity was to evaluate academic and non-academic achievements during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year and to make strategic plans to improve quality in the following semester.

Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, M.Hum., as the Head of the Study Program, delivered a report on the program’s performance, which included human resource development, teaching schedule distribution, and student achievements. In addition, he also explained the strategic learning plans contained in the teaching schedule distribution, thesis guidance and testing, and the implementation of the MBKM program, which will be related to student progress in national and international competitions.

Furthermore, this coordination meeting also included plans for activities to be carried out in the odd semester, such as visiting professors and visiting lecturers, soft skills for students, Re-accreditation of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, both nationally and internationally, management of student final projects, and teaching and learning activities in accordance with the applicable curriculum changes as stipulated by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, as well as updates to teaching modules for Indonesian Language courses. The work program for the coming semester is based on many useful inputs and recommendations generated from the lively discussions during the meeting.

In this coordination meeting, the Indonesian Literature Study Program reaffirmed its commitment to conducting continuous evaluations to achieve the institution’s vision and mission and meet the standards of excellence in higher education.

Effectively, this activity facilitated the exchange of ideas between the leadership of the Indonesian Literature Study Program and the lecturers. Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, M.Hum., Head of the Indonesian Literature Study Program at FIB UNDIP, expressed his gratitude for the smooth running of the meeting. He also stated that the policies that had been established would form the basis for the study program for the coming semester. (Anin)
